NIANTIC PIKMIN BLOOM Vlog – PIKMIN and Everyone’s 14 DAYS-

PIKMIN BLOOM is a location-based game software for smartphones jointly developed by Niantic, the creator of Pokemon GO and Nintendo. The purpose of the game is to add a little more fun to the players’ daily walking, as they raise their Pikmins and make flowers bloom along the streets as they walk.

In order to communicate how to enjoy PIKMIN BLOOM, six groups of people from variety of occupations and backgrounds were chosen to participate, such as an engineer, a chef, a businessman, a comedian and a YouTuber who feel lack of exercise or are not familiar with playing games on a smartphone. They begin by downloading the app and are asked to experience the game for two weeks so that we can follow things that happen to them on daily basis and find behavior changes that occur during the period. By providing a selfie camera, the plan is to capture their daily lives in Vlog format and bring out their true and real voices.
