ADOBE imase｜Bokurada

This is a project to create a music video using Adobe’s Premiere Pro, a video editing software and After Effects, a software to create motion graphics. Collaborating with imase who first gained popularity from posting a song on Tiktok and following, delivered a hit song, “Night Dancer” which received over 70 million views on YouTube, we worked together to create a new music video, “Bokurada.”

This music video sends a message of the importance of keeping a positive mind set in life to the young people still feeling unsure about their future as they start their new working life. The message is expressed through imase appearing in a fresh recruit suit look and as he listens to the lyrics and the music and his heart eventually begins to open up, the whole world surrounding him also begins to dance. The execution of the buildings in the background expanding in synch to the music are created by After Effects.
