A new music video created through a tie-up of Ayase and Monster Hunter Now

BACKGROUND
Niantic, Inc. and CAPCOM CO., LTD, the provider of “Monster Hunter Now” which is a smartphone application that allows users to enjoy a real-world hunting experience, collaborated with Ayase, a vocaloid producer and an active composer for YOASOBI, to release a short version of a new song “From Now!” which was streamed in advance, exclusively on “Monster Hunter Now.”
WHAT WE INVENTED
The lyrics and the music of “From Now!” were written by Ayase who is a long-time player of “Monster Hunter” series, matching the song with the world of the “Monster Hunter Now” game. Yasutaka Nakata who is a pioneer of electronic music in Japan and also active in the field of game music was in charge of co-writing and arranging the song. The music video was produced in collaboration with “Monster Hunter Now” featuring the characteristic of the game which is a confrontation of monsters in the city, portrayed by illustrations, CG and animation. Avatar of Ayase becomes a hunter, dives into the world of “Monster Hunter Now” and continues to struggle and challenge the monsters in a heated battle alone as well as with a group in group hunting. Music overflowing with love for “Monster Hunter,” and the appearance of Ayase as an avatar together created an exhilarating finish to the collaboration music video.
