VANILLA BEANS have been selling its signature product CHOCOLAT and its second popular product PARIS TROIS. For the April Fool PR plan, we created a stop-motion video under a concept that the ever-popular No. 1 product, the fresh chocolate cookie sandwich “CHOCOLAT,” will come to life on April Fools’ Day. This communication was spread through the social media and PR. The chocolate sweets born as a gimmick for April Fool’s was later released for sale as a product for limited time offer.
Meaning of the title: CHOCOLAT surprisingly turns upside down and becomes LACOOCHO
*CHOCOLAT in Japanese is pronounced cho-coo-la but when read backwards, it becomes la-coo-cho
