ONE OK ROCK and Monster Hunter Now Collaboration MV Wins Bronze at ADFEST 2024
Awards
DETAIL
The music video for ONE OK ROCK × Monster Hunter Now “Make It Out Alive,” planned and produced by ENJIN TOKYO, has won a Bronze award at ADFEST 2024. ADFEST (Asia Pacific Advertising Festival) is one of the most prestigious advertising awards in the Asia-Pacific region. http://www.adfest.com/
The winning work is the music video for “Make It Out Alive,” a tie-up song between the globally active rock band ONE OK ROCK and “Monster Hunter Now,” a smartphone app provided by Niantic, Inc. and Capcom Co., Ltd. that allows users to experience monster hunting in the real world. Since its release, the video has garnered over 10 million views from audiences around the globe.
Blending the real and digital worlds, the music video features a hunter sprinting through the city streets at night, weapon in hand, to face down monsters. The band members confront these monsters through their music, resulting in a cutting-edge visual work born from the collision of the game’s universe and the sonic world created by ONE OK ROCK. Additionally, the jacket art for the tie-up song “Make It Out Alive” features the monster Diablos, which also appears in the game.
